The LifeStraw Peak Series Gravity Filter System combines an 8L gravity bag with LifeStraw’s membrane microfilter for high-capacity group filtration. It is designed for situations where larger-volume filtration is helpful, including basecamp, group travel, RV travel, and van travel.
The system protects against bacteria, parasites, microplastics, silt, sand, and cloudiness. The membrane microfilter has a 0.2 micron pore size and lasts up to 2,000 L / 500 gallons. Once the filter has reached the end of its lifetime, water will stop flowing through.
The filter can be removed from the gravity bag and used as a straw or with a water bottle, giving the system added flexibility beyond standard gravity filtration.
