The Katadyn Vario Water Filter is a compact, lightweight portable water filter designed for small groups, camping, backpacking, travel, and emergency water treatment.
Dual Piston Technology allows you to choose between faster filtration at up to 2 liters per minute or a lower-output setting of approximately 1 liter per minute to help extend filter life.
The Vario uses a three-stage filtration system with a ceramic pre-filter, 0.3 micron glass fiber media, and activated carbon. The ceramic pre-filter can be engaged for dirtier water to help protect the internal glass fiber filter, while the activated carbon helps reduce unpleasant tastes and odors.
