The Katadyn Drip Gravidyn Water Filter is a gravity-fed water filtration system designed for groups, cabins, base camps, emergency preparedness, hunting, fishing, and other locations where electricity or pressurized water may not be available.
There is no pumping, electrical connection, or tap connection required. Simply fill the upper container and allow gravity to move water through the filtration system at approximately 4 liters / 1 gallon per hour into the 10-liter container.
The Gravidyn system combines cleanable 0.2 micron ceramic depth filtration with activated carbon granulate. The ceramic elements help remove bacteria and protozoa, while the activated carbon helps reduce chemicals and unpleasant tastes and odors.
